3. The number will be dialed
automatically.
To change a Frequently-Dialed number,
simply follow the normal programming
steps.
Note: Programming in the pause function
will cause the phone to wait 3 seconds
before dialing any more numbers. For
example: Pressing a memory button that
has 9<P>555-1212 programmed into it
will dial the number 9, then wait 3 seconds
and dial 555-1212. In most cases, you will
not need to use a pause.
8. Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for each
number you wish to enter into the
memory. (Up to 10 different phone

Since there is not a separate pause
button on the phone, the redial button
serves this purpose during programming.
Remember, you can store up to 15 digits
and the pause function counts as 1 of
those digits.
5. Press the “PROGRAM” Button again,
and then the appropriate Memory
Button you will store the number under.
6. Place handset back into the cradle.
7. To enter a name or number in the
Memory Index, remove the plastic shield
and write the necessary information
next to the corresponding number.
